Website Hints

How to Search our Website

Do you sometimes look for something specific on our website, but can’t find it?   If so, you will be happy to hear that it’s much easier than you thought!  Here’s how:

  • On any page, at the right end of the navigation links, click “Search”.
  • in the “Search Our Website” page that opens, there is a box for entering the word(s) or phrase that you’re searching for (for example, “building and grounds”, or “service”).  Enter your words and click the little magnifying glass symbol.
  • your results will consist of pages that have that phrase or those words, and you can click on the titles to open those pages

Additionally, in the footer at the bottom of each page, you will find a small search box where you can type your search words and click on the little magnifying glass.

Examples of searches are someone’s name, the name of a document or word(s) within it, a committee name, or words such as “announcements”, “solidarity”, “Togo support”, etc.  To search for an exact phrase, put quotation marks around it.  Give it a try! (and remember that you don’t have to be on the home page to do a search).

NOTES:

(1) Be warned that Google Search inserts a few ads at the beginning of the list of search results.  Scroll down to the first item address at www.boulderfriendsmeeting.org.

(2) If you are not logged in, all the pages with your search terms will show up in your search results but you will have to log in to be able to read any password protected pages.
